Ring Flash

I cannot even handle how cute these guys are. These portraits were not shot with our normal lighting setup. They were shot with an ABR800 Ring Flash unit, beauty dish and two strip soft boxes from behind. I absolutely love the look of a Ring Flash, it's so much more High Fashion than a soft box (which I also think is stunning) but this effect is so airbrushed.

Heart Surgery has nothing on Baby Brody

 This is Brody and he is a Superhero Miracle Baby. He has transposition of the great arteries and these were taken after his second heart surgery at four months. He was three days old for his first heart surgery. What a trooper!
